Your Role

As the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire software testing lifecycle and ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital products. You will develop testing strategies, manage a team of QA engineers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all client needs are met. You will drive continuous improvement efforts and mentor junior team members to uphold Modeso’s high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the software testing lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Perform hands-on testing using tools like Selenium and Appium to ensure the highest level of product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development process.
• Ensure alignment with agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Review and refine test cases to ensure coverage, reliability, and performance.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, or similar testing tools.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience in testing web and mobile applications, as well as API testing.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is required.
• Additional ISTQB certifications (Agile, Mobile, Advanced levels) are a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to quickly grasp relevant issues.
